I am a Graduate Teaching Assistant and lead several undergraduate seminars.
In 2017 I won an Eileen Raby Award for excellence as a Teaching Assistant in English, American Studies and Creative Writing.
I am a Widening Participation Fellow at the University of Manchester and a tutor for the Manchester Access Programme. I am also a mentor for the Girls Network.
My further interests include African American literature, Southern Gothic, and Jewish identity and culture in the United States.
I organised the MASS (Manchester American Studies Seminar) Postgraduate Conference 2016.

The title of my Masters thesis was 'What does the Galveston Movement suggest about Jewish identity in America at the start of the Twentieth Century?' I was awarded the Margaret Yates Lodge Prize for this thesis.
